STALON is a highly integrated System-0n-A-Chip (Soc) product for Monitoring and Control Systems. It combines a powerful Power Line Transceiver and Control Networking Protocol Firmware into a single chip. The SoC solution substantially reduces the cost compared to other products (which require serveral chips), as STALON is an all-in-one integrated low-cost chip. The embedded power line transceiver is designed to operate in a hash power line environment by utilizing modem DSP techniques to deliver reliable data communication. It conforms to the ANSI/EIA 709.2 (which is the LonWorks power line communication standard) and CENELEC EN50065-1 standards (which is the European standard for signalling on low voltage mains).
